The ticking combines wool, silk, and viscose for breathability and softness that begin conditioning the microclimate at first contact. The upholstery layers progress from British fleece wool for resilience and moisture regulation, to the long, crimped horsetail to resist compression, then to Real Shetland Wool blended with cashmere for a finer, softer transition that moderates temperature without trapping heat. A core of Real Shetland Wool blended with organic cotton adds body and absorption, while the two layers of hand-nested vanadium steel pocket springs (3,296 in a King) respond independently to weight and movement for continuous support. The border is finished with coir and wool and reinforced by four rows of hand side-stitching to extend the usable sleep surface, with woollen tufts and twine compressing the filling for a stable depth at every tuft point.
